Jaguar Heritage commission Stuart Spencer to Capture Significant Historical Event for it's 60th Anniversary

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the first use of modern disc brakes on a competition car, Jaguar Heritage commissioned former Jaguar Designer and renowned automotive artist Stuart Spencer to re-create a scene from the 1952 Mille Miglia. Stuart has captured an evocative moment, depicting Stirling Moss and Norman Dewis tackling the winding Futa Pass in C-Type chassis XKC-003 – part of the prove out programme for the new disc brake system.
