As long as I can remember, I have practised art in some form or another. I still use a variety of media to respond and react to a situation to create artwork. This can be in the form of painting, sculpture, installation, photography even video.  I was recently part of three artists that were invited to exhibit in Solihull’s G1 Gallery. The title of the show was “Trans-Essence”, and I was able to incorporate my interest in how items hold the energy of the person who they belonged too. This directly related to the loss of my father and the traces he had left behind him.
More recently I have been using old beads and recycled items to make smaller brooches. But the theme continues.
