Jan Gay RBSA
Abstract qualities and powerful colours are undoubtedly my inspiration and I enjoy exploring these elements in many different ways. Composition is important to me and needs careful thought – I like cropping images, often zooming in on my subject stimulates further abstraction which I love. Invariably I start in acrylic but who knows where it might lead to.
Besides being Vice President of the Birmingham Art Circle, I am a member of the RBSA and a committee member of the Birmingham & Midland Pastel Society. I exhibit at the RBSA, The Art Barn, Preston Bagot and the Purple Gallery, Bournville.
