Nigel Ireland
I started designing and creating art in June 2007 and today it is a big part of who I am and more importantly who I want to be.
All my work at the moment is exploratory and experimental. I have no formal training and teach myself new methods and techniques to achieve the results I desire to complete my projects. The material I am most familiar with is wood and I currently design and make furniture.
My sculptures have been exhibited at the ‘Gallery Usptairs’ in Henley-in-Arden in 2009 and in the ‘Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery’ as a finalist in the ‘West Midlands Open 2010’.
